Ford and Eneco expand successful partnership to Belgium and Germany

Following its successful start in the Netherlands, Eneco and Ford are expanding their partnership to Germany and Belgium. Both parties are striving to make the process of charging electric vehicles faster, smarter and more comfortable, thus making it even easier for drivers to make the switch to electric transport.

Working together successfully, also in Germany and Belgium
“Germany and Belgium are important European markets for us”, says Joris Laponder, CCO of Eneco eMobility. “In Germany, e-mobility is regarded as an important topic for the future and one of the major current trends. Therefore, we are very content that our successful partnership with Ford in the Netherlands can be continued on an international scale.”

Stefan Wieber, Director Passenger Cars at Ford-Werke GmbH for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, adds: “We are very pleased that in addition to modern and intelligent charging points, we are now also able to offer our customers a simple custom installation.”

Strong partners striving to make electric mobility easy for customers
With the electrification of its entire fleet, Ford is among the frontrunners in electric mobility in the automotive sector. The organisation has also set itself the goal of making the car charging process as easy as possible for its customers. “That goes without saying for us”, says Joris Laponder. "Our motto is ‘e-mobility made e-asy’. We are aware that making the switch to electric driving also poses many challenges, and by thinking one step ahead we strive to make this switch as easy as possible for customers. Ford is an ideal partner for us in this respect!”
