Enlightening customers about energy with ‘Eneco verlicht’

Download

Eneco’s new brand campaign ‘Eneco verlicht’ (Eneco enlightens) will launch on 4 March 2025. The campaign is aimed at helping people learn about energy. As the energy transition becomes more and more prominent, consumers and companies face increasing choices and complexities. To help them, Eneco will share facts and information in a form that is easy to understand. The focus of the campaign is on affordable ways to save energy and become more sustainable.

This new brand positioning is a new step along the way to achieving Eneco’s goal of being climate-neutral by 2035, both for the energy that the company uses and for the energy that its customers use. Eneco will share facts and information about energy and the energy system so that consumers and companies can pierce through the complexity and uncover the possibilities. This will help them to make properly considered choices that are the best fit for their specific situation.

Selina Thurer of Eneco’s Management Board comments, “A key aspect of achieving a climate-neutral future is using less energy and making it more sustainable. The question is how to do this. What are the best opportunities and possibilities for your own situation? Our new ‘Eneco verlicht’ campaign will inspire people to think about what is possible: from using energy at different times to investing in improvements such as heat pumps. This will allow consumers and companies to choose what is best for their own situation and for the energy transition.

Campaign developed in partnership with Publicis Groupe
The new positioning and campaign were developed in partnership with Publicis Groupe, which has been Eneco’s lead agency since 2022. They worked together closely to decide on the brand positioning, strategy, creation and roll-out of the communications for the campaign. The media plan was drawn up with Mindshare’s assistance. During the period ahead, the campaign will appear on online channels, on television, in cinemas, in digital out-of-home communications and in branded content partnerships.
