Eneco extends natural gas agreement with Statoil

Statoil ASA and Eneco Energy Trade B.V. have extended their agreement for the delivery of natural gas. The original agreement, which was to end 1st October 2011, has now been extended until1st January 2014. The annual contract volume is equal to approximately 500 million Nm3 (35.17 MJ).

With this agreement Statoil had extended its gas sales into the distribution segment in the Netherlands, and Eneco has secured access to supplies of natural gas from a major Norwegian producer.

Eneco Energy Trade B.V. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Eneco Holding N.V., the largest independent energy company in The Netherlands. Its integral service includes the production, transmission and supply of electricity, gas, heat and related services (metering, management, installation and invoicing). In total Eneco serves approximately two million business and domestic customers.
