Eneco continues hybrid heat pump rental
Renting a hybrid heat pump provides consumers with a simple way to use less gas and switch to more sustainable energy. It does not require any major expenditure, and the consumer does not have to worry about maintenance. Eneco conducted a survey among customers who have rented a heat pump within the past year. In response to the high customer satisfaction, Eneco has decided to continue to offer hybrid heat pump rentals, with an even more comprehensive service package.
For customers, a hybrid heat pump is a convenient sustainability improvement. In combination with solar panels, it can offer even more benefits: most of the heat from a hybrid heat pump is produced using electricity, and part of the electricity from the household’s solar panels can be sent directly to the hybrid heat pump.
Remote control
Customers taking out a new rental contract will have an Intergas Xtend 5kW hybrid heat pump installed in their home. Thanks to its internet connection customers can use an app on their phone or tablet to control the heat pump. Most malfunctions can also be resolved remotely: if a problem occurs, Eneco can read out the error codes online and adjust the settings.
Eneco treats the combination of hybrid heat pump and central heater boiler as a comprehensive system for managing temperatures in the home, and the rental price of €79.50 per month includes maintenance for both installations. Eneco has added these new features to the service package in response to the findings from the survey into renting heat pumps.
