Eneco completes acquisition of Gulf Gas + Power following ACM approval

Eneco has obtained approval from the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) for the acquisition of Gulf Gas + Power, which was announced last month. Now that approval has been granted, the transaction has been completed and Gulf Gas + Power will immediately become part of Eneco.

The acquisition fits within Eneco’s strategy to accelerate sustainable growth in the Dutch small- and medium-sized business market and to contribute to the energy transition. The activities of Gulf Gas + Power’s will be integrated into Eneco over the course of 2026. Until then, services to customers will remain unchanged.

Eneco and Gulf Gas + Power are not disclosing any financial details regarding this acquisition.
