EcoVadis again awards Eneco a Platinum rating

EcoVadis has again awarded Eneco a Platinum rating, thus acknowledging our good performance in the area of corporate social responsibility and sustainable business operations. The Platinum rating puts us among the 1% top-rated companies in our sector in terms of sustainability performance.

The environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement policy are central themes in EcoVadis’ rating. A wide range of operational aspects of organisations and their impact on these themes are taken into account. Eneco also recognises the importance of this and aims to make well-founded decisions in the area of corporate social responsibilty and sustainable business operations in particular. The renewed Platinum rating in 2021 stimulates us to continue on this path.

EcoVadis
EcoVadis is an international organisation that rates companies based on their performance in the area of sustainable business operations and corporate social responsibilty (CSR). The ratings allow companies and organisations to compare suppliers in terms of sustainability, environment and social and ethical work practices. EcoVadis’ rating process uses international CSR standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000.
