Selina Thurer new CCO Eneco

Eneco’s Supervisory Board has appointed Selina Thurer (1973) as Chief Customer Officer (CCO) and member of the Management Board, effective 9 May 2022. Ms Thurer is presently Senior Vice President & General Manager of Philips Personal Health North America.  

Selina Thurer: “I am looking forward to my transfer to Eneco and the energy world. The company’s leading position in the field of sustainable energy is an important motivation for me to move to Eneco for the next chapter in my career. Together with all my colleagues I intend to help current and new customers to increase sustainability and so contribute substantially to Eneco’s One Planet Plan, which is aimed at being climate neutral by 2035.”

Chairman of the Supervisory Board Mel Kroon adds: “In Selina we have found an excellent new CCO with ample customer, commercial and transformation experience and skills. We wish her all the best in her new position.”

Selina Thurer has held various positions at Philips since she joined the company in 2000. In her current position of Senior Vice President & General Manager of Philips Personal Health North America she is responsible for the portfolio and activities in the personal health domain aimed at retail and consumer customers. Prior to this, she was Global Business Leader Philips Kitchen Appliances (Amsterdam) and General Manager Personal Health Philips Asia-Pacific (Singapore).

Selina Thurer has a Master’s degree in Management and Organisation from the University of Groningen.
