Nynke Dalstra appointed as Eneco’s new Chief Financial Officer
Eneco’s Supervisory Board has appointed Nynke Dalstra to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective 9 September 2024, with a seat on the Management Board.
Nynke Dalstra (1969) previously served as CFO of engineering firm Royal HaskoningDHV, with a seat on the Executive Board, from 2016 to 2019. Since 2021 she has held interim CFO positions at water management company Vitens, Koopman Logistics Group and ProRail. She was also a member of several Supervisory Boards. Going back further, she worked for radiation therapy company Nucletron (2007-2009), Akzo Nobel (1995-2007) and electricity producer EPON (1993-1995).
Nynke Dalstra comments, ‘I’m looking forward to taking on the role of CFO and helping Eneco to achieve its mission of “everyone’s sustainable energy” and carry out its One Planet Plan. Questions relating to energy and the energy transition have been important topics throughout my entire career. Having spent a number of years working in interim roles, I’m looking forward to taking on a permanent executive role again in the dynamic energy sector, where the focus is on major challenges for the future of our planet.’

She also possesses vast financial, strategic and operational expertise, and as a leader she’s someone who builds bridges. Dalstra studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Twente and obtained her Post-Master in Finance & Control at VU Amsterdam. She has also completed a variety of leadership, management and economics courses in the Netherlands and abroad.
