Michael Enthoven Supervisory Director of Eneco Group NV

Michael Enthoven (1951) was appointed as member of the Supervisory Board of Eneco Groep N.V. during an Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders, on 29 June 2018. At the request of the shareholders and with the approval of the Supervisory Board, Mr Enthoven will be added as the eighth member of the Supervisory Board for the duration of the privatisation of Eneco Group. He has ample experience with privatisation processes and with public stakeholders. From 2008 to 2010 he was government commissioner at Fortis and ABN AMRO and from 2011 until the end of 2017 he was chairman of the board of the state agency NL Financial Investments.

Furthermore, Mr Enthoven has gained extensive experience in the financial world. He started his career in 1976 at the US bank J.P. Morgan, where he ultimately became Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (1997-1998). After working as a consultant for several years, he became chairman of the executive board of NIB Capital and later of NIBC Holding. Mr Enthoven also worked as public prosecutor and as deputy judge at the District Court of The Hague.

Michael Enthoven holds a law degree from Leiden University.
