Marco Keim appointed member Eneco Supervisory Board

Summary

 The General Shareholders’ Meeting today appointed Mr Marco Keim as member of the Supervisory Board of Eneco N.V.

Marco Keim (51) is CEO of Aegon Nederland. Previous to this, he held various positions at Zwitserleven, NS Reizigers, Fokker, Coopers & Lybrand and Van Dien Accountants. Mr Keim is also chairman of the Dutch Association of Insurers, member of the Supervisory Board of the Unirobe Meeús Group, member of the Supervisory Board of the Samenwerkende Hulporganisaties Foundation and member of the Supervisory Board of the Steun Alzheimer Centrum Foundation of the VU University Medical Center.

Marco Keim studied Accountancy at VU University in Amsterdam, Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Law at Utrecht University and Business Administration at Nyenrode Business University.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board Edo van den Assem: "Marco has a broad background in both general management and finance. The combination of his expertise and social engagement are a good fit with Eneco and the other Supervisory Board members, and I am pleased with his arrival.”

Also during the General Shareholders’ Meeting, the tenures of Klaas de Vries and Henk Dijkgraaf were renewed for a period of two years and four years, respectively. Messrs Lintjer, Van Dongen and Drechsel resigned their position as members of the Supervisory Board.

As a result of these changes, the Supervisory Board of Eneco Holding N.V. now consists of six members. The chairman of the Supervisory board is Edo van den Assem and the members are Mirjam Sijmons, Marike van Lier Lels, Henk Dijkgraaf, Klaas de Vries and Marco Keim.
